CargoON will present at SIL Barcelona its digital solution for transport management designed for shippers
Barcelona, 31st May, 2023 - The Trans.eu Group, the leading company in the field of technological and financial solutions for transport in Europe, will present its platform specially designed for shippers and retailers, under the CargoON brand, at the Leading exhibition for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in Southern Europe.
CargoON is an innovative solution that enables end-to-end digitalisation of the supply chain, thereby saving logistics costs, increasing productivity and boosting transparency with all stakeholders connected to the platform, from the shipper to the carriers and drivers to the logistics operators.
Digitalisation is essential, but it must also be efficient and optimised. CargoON has therefore arrived in the Spanish market to facilitate the technological transition and solve all these challenges faced by the supply chain through an easy-to-use collaborative platform that covers the entire supply chain from start to finish, with innovative modules that facilitate implementation in 4-6 weeks and with European coverage.
During its presence at SIL, and due to the regulatory context in which the Spanish market is found, CargoON will emphasise its module for the efficient management of loading docks - Dock Scheduler, by means of which the company intends to respond to the needs of the digitalisation of warehouses in order to reduce waiting times and be able to undertake the loading and unloading work required by law without devoting more resources.
In fact, according to the latest survey carried out by the Trans.eu Group among 96 logistics and transport managers, 30.4% of loading companies incur additional costs for overtime paid to their warehouse staff due to lack of planning. On the other hand, it is also common for trucks to wait for more than 2 and 3 hours in front of the warehouse, a fact that in Spain translates into additional costs due to downtime. This situation is repeated in all European countries and could be explained by another of the conclusions revealed by the same study: 43.5% of companies are forced to reschedule loadings due to delays in the arrival of trucks.
For the Trans.eu Group, which a few months ago created the company CargoON Iberia with international headquarters in Barcelona, providing a technological response to this need in the Spanish market is a priority and, moreover, confirms through its presence at this fair its commitment to becoming a strategic partner for the digitalisation of Spanish logistics.
